Newsletter:  At the end of April Al Crawford will discontinue his Thursday workshops for the summer while he is traveling.  The Friday B&W workshop will likely continue with the fine leadership that has developed during this spring.  During the summer Al will be sending newsletters to those who would like to receive them.  They will contain some helpful tips on photography and Photoshop as well as descriptions to websites on photography.  If you would like to be included on his mailing list drop him an e-mail to Newsletter@CrawfordEnterprise.com

"Ladies Day at the Camera Club! Redecorate your Home with Elements v5.0/4.0" presented by Howard Benedict

Tired of those old white walls for the past 30 years? Want to add some new pizzazz to your life? If you have a digital camera and Elements, this class will stimulate your creative juices.

You can try out a new color scheme on your walls and furniture, experiment to your heart's delight and make no irreversible changes until you are satisfied with the entire effect. Then with everything just perfect, Elements can give you the exact paint formula to take to the paint store to have mixed, so there will be no surprises. Bring your husband if he is interested. Sorry no wallpaper demos. Come and have lots of fun Thursday morning at 9:30AM.

"What's New in CS3" presented by Al Crawford

Adobe has announced the final version of CS3.  You can pre order this version from the Adobe website  at this time and it should soon be available.  Al will demonstrate some of the new features using the CS3 beta version.  These new features, according the the Adobe website, include Smart Filters, Quick Selection, Refine Edge tools, better raw processing, an enhanced vanishing point, an enhanced HDR support and a new black-and-white conversion tool.  You can also learn about the new CS3 with a free tutorial by Deke McClelland

Explorers of Light and Print Masters -- Canon's Explorers of Light program has earned worldwide acclaim since its inception in December 1994. Out of the original 55 renowned photographers who made a two-year commitment to the program, 36 are still active participants. Including 20 recent additions to the roster, there are 78 current Explorers in total. Explorers make presentations at colleges and universities; appear and participate in on-site and online workshops as well as seminars; act as panelists, demonstrators and make appearances at trade shows such as PMA (Photo Marketing Association) and PhotoPlus Expo (an annual professional photography show held in New York City); exhibit in museums and galleries, and make presentations before a variety of professional and amateur groups.Click here for a schedule.
