Note:  You do not have to sign up for these workshops.  Just drop in.
There are no fees and most workshops use Intermediate and Advanced
Adobe Photoshop CS or Elements. 

All workshops are in the Camera Club Studio Classroom.

Intermediate Digital Photography Workshop

Thursday, March 8, 9:30  to 11:00
"Creating a Collage in Photoshop Elements" presented by Al Crawford

Collages as a way of showing off family photos or as a way of creating posters are a fun method of displaying your images.  And the creation of collages provides a way of getting more familar with the details of Photoshop Elements, especially use of selection tools and the concept of layers and the optimizing of individual layers.

Time will be given at the end of the session for questions and answers.

Advanced Digital Photography Workshop

Thursday, March 8, 1:30 to 3:00
"Color, Color Spaces, and How to Use Them" presented by Al Crawford

sRGB, AdobeRGB, CMYK, and printer gamuts -- how do they effect us as we print photographs.  We will look at the concepts of color spaces and color management.  The basis for this discussion will come from the web sites of "Cambridge in Colour" found by clicking here and looking at the Color Management tutorials.

Note:  There will be no Advanced Workshop on March 15th.  The Advanced Workshops will resume on March 22nd.

Black & White Study Group

Friday, March 9, 9:30 to 11:00
"Infrared Photography" a discussion lead by Bill McDonald

Bill McDonald is well known by the B&W group for his wonderful infrared images.  He will lead a discussion of the concepts of infrared photography and what makes them different and appealing.

Also bring some of your black and white photos to share with the rest of the group. This will help you and everyone else to improve on their photography.
