Studio Workshop Wandering

Workshops for this week

Note:  You do not have to sign up for these workshops.  Just drop in.
There are no fees and most workshops use Intermediate and Advanced
Adobe Photoshop CS or Elements.

All workshops are in the Camera Club Studio Classroom.

Intermediate Digital Photography Workshop

Thursday, February 22, 9:30  to 11:00
"Local Corrections With Adjustment Layers" presented by Al Crawford
Adjustment layers are a wonderful tool for making non-destructive global corrections to an image.  But adjustment layers can also be used for local corrections by using clipping groups and by using the adjustment layer mask.  A review of adjustment layers will be followed by demonstrations of the local techniques.

Time will be given at the end of the session for questions and answers.

Advanced Digital Photography Workshop

Thursday, February 22, 1:30 to 3:00
"Watercolor Edges" presented by Ron Stein
Ron Stein will present a lesson on "Watercolor Edges" or how to make different edge patterns using Photoshop.  He may also present another topic if time permits.

Black & White Study Group

Friday, February 23, 9:30 to 11:00
"Ron Barry on Black and White Photography" a discussion lead by Ron Barry

Ron Barry is continuing his moderation of the Black and White Study group.  This week's assignment is to "Think Black and White".  Go out and take pictures that you intend to be in black and white as you take the picture (instead of deciding after you take the picture that it might work in b&w.)

Also bring some of your black and white photos to share with the rest of the group.  This will help you and everyone else to improve on their photography.
