There are no fees and most workshops use Intermediate and Advanced
Adobe Photoshop CS or Elements.
All workshops are in the Camera Club Studio Classroom.
Intermediate Digital Photography Workshop
Thursday, January 18, 9:30 to
11:00
"Resizing Images for Making Prints" presented by Al Crawford
One of the main purposes of taking
photographs is to turn them into prints. This might be small
prints such as 4"x6" or it might be large prints up to the 13" x 19"
that the printers in the camera club can print. Al will present
some of the better ways to crop and resize prints to make your prints
in the most nondestructive ways possible. Also how to resize for
e-mail and other computer viewing will be covered.
Time will be given at the end of the session for questions and
answers.
Advanced Digital Photography Workshop

"Retouching Techniques" by Deke McClelland (moderated by Al Crawford)
In a DVD lesson by Deke McClelland, one
of the big experts of Adobe Photoshop, we will learn many techniques of
retouching a photo and removing the flaws of the image.
Black & White Study Group
Friday, January 19, 9:30 to 11:00
"How to Print in Black and White" a discussion lead by Al Crawford
In particular, the
settings on the Camera Club's printers that relate to printing in black
& white will be covered. Some of the general techinques will
be discussed and a discussion of printers for black and white will be
discussed.
Also bring some of your black and white photos to share with the rest
of the group. This will help you and everyone else to improve on
their photography.
