Intermediate Digital Photography Workshop

Thursday, January 18, 9:30  to 11:00
"Making Slide Shows with Photostory 3" presented by Ron Stein
Ron will be giving his popular lesson on Photostory 3, which is a free download from Microsoft.  Many of the slideshows presented at Showtime are done in Photostory 3.  You can download the latest version from Microsoft at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/Browse.aspx?displaylang=en&categoryid=4

Time will be given at the end of the session for questions and answers.

Advanced Digital Photography Workshop

Thursday, January 18, 1:30 to 3:00
"Bizarre Workshop" presented by Ron Harper, Ron Stein and Don Spear
Well, okay, to be more accurate some of their photo work that has been called bizarre. Both Ron and Ron dispute that, saying their work may be different but it is just more unusual than it is bazaar. Every member knows that Don has turned out works that are also unusual but greatly admired. You can judge for yourself at their session on Thursday, January 18th at 1:30 p.m. at the Camera Club.

Black & White Study Group

Friday, January 19, 9:30 to 11:00
"Bob Johnson's Principles of Black & White" presented by Bruce Zimmerman

Bruce Zimmerman will cover a few of the factors that were presented by Bob Johnson in the previous class in Black and White.
Also bring some of your black and white photos to share with the rest of the group.  This will help you and everyone else to improve on their photography.

Cleaning Digital SLR Sensors

One problem with a D-SLR is that when you remove the lens to put another lens you can allow specks of dust to enter your camera and get on the sensor.  And that will create spots on all of your pictures.  If you are always getting a spot in the same place on your pictures it is probably caused by dust.  Ron Stein sent me the following web site that tells some of the ways you can clean your sensors.  Check out http://www.cleaningdigitalcameras.com/methods.html
