An introduction to organizing your digital photographs using Photoshop
Organizer. You will learn how to get your photos into organizer, tag
the images for easy retrieval, search your images, and perform simple
photo editing.
Day 2
Day 3
Basic Photoshop EditingIntroduction to editing images in Photoshop Elements or in Photoshop
CS. Light correction with levels, brightness, and contrast. Color
correction with hue and saturation. Local corrections with the clone
tool, with layers, and with adjustment layers. And replacing dull, grey
skies with bright cloudy skies.

- Assignment: Take
a number of sky pictures. Some with clouds and some without. Find a
picture of your own that has a dull sky and replace that sky with one
of your sky pictures that you took.
Bonus Projects
Advanced Photoshop Editing
A continuation of Basic Photoshop Editing. 90% of this class can be
done in Photoshop Elements but a couple of items may be introduced
using features from Photoshop CS. Topics will include working with
masks in adjustment layers, detailed use of the selection tools to cut
out objects from one image and moving them to another image, black and
white conversions, clipping layers, etc.

are now accomplished using Photoshop. Take your best photograph that
you have taken in the past year or so, enhance it to your satisfaction,
print it at least 12x16 inches, put it in a frame, and we will hang it
in an exhibition.
